Mr. Gore is a partner at
Smith | Campbell | Clifford | Kearney | Gore, and manages the firm's Los Angeles (Torrance) office. Mr. Gore specializes in corporate, real estate, and general business transactions. Mr. Gore also has extensive experience in loan restructurings and workouts (both bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy), licensing transactions, and business litigation. While Mr. Gore represents a number of nationally-recognized clients, he typically acts in the capacity as general counsel to small- to medium-sized businesses and successful entrepreneurs.
Mr. Gore is a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania (Bachelor of Science degree in Economics), the University of Southern California (Master of Business Administration degree), and Loyola Law School (Juris Doctorate degree). From 1995 to 2006, Mr. Gore served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles, Southwest Judicial District. From 2005 to 2009 he served as a member of the Los Angeles Superior Court Mediation Panel. In 1998 he served as a Federal Judicial Extern to the Honorable Barry J. Russell of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gore spent 17 years as a partner with Clarkson, Gore & Marsella, A Professional Law Corporation in Torrance, California, and prior to that was associated with Reish & Reicher (formerly Reish & Luftman) in Los Angeles, California.
